Depending on experience, more or less lessons may be needed before a production. I work with actors via video calls, before the first day of recording, and make sure that the person has done the basic job such as: analysis of character, analysis of script, doctrine of intention and meaning in a line, the importance of listening to the opponent and physical attributes such as breathing and body language.

My job is to lay a foundation with the actor. It is then up to the director to refine and shape expressions at the moment.
